A²ZERO Home Energy Advisor (HEA) Assessment

Thought Bubble with text - What is Decarbonization?: Building decarbonization refers to reducing the greenhouse gases associated with the operation of buildings. This can be achieved by improving energy efficiency, electrifying fossil fuel systems, and switching to renewable energy sources. Decarbonizing lowers energy costs, improves health and comfort in homes, and makes communities more resilient.

The A2ZERO Home Energy Advisor is a free program designed to provide residents of Ann Arbor clear and actionable pathways to decarbonize their homes. The program is rooted in an assessment of your home where the HEA team will identify opportunities for energy efficiency, electrification, and renewable energy, and develop a personalized Path To Zero report. Most assessments will be conducted virtually via video call, while a portion will be done on-site, ensuring accessibility for all.
